The red flowers are individually small but are borne in long, narrow, finger-like clusters. Some of the clusters will branch and droop providing a cascade of dark red. Provide a sunny growing area. Amaranthus will tolerate some dryness. Propagation: Seed Cultivars: 'Green Thumb' - Long lasting spikes of bright green. 'Love Lies Bleeding' - Flower clusters may be 2 feet long.
