venison
Carcharodon Carcharias
there
are
two
things
that
affect
the
taste
of
venison,
one
,
i've
been
told
(
but
don't
totally
believe
for
lack
of
a
complete
explanation
of
the
how
and
why
of
it
)
depends
on
how
carefully
it
is
butchered
and
the
other
depends
on
it's
food
source
since
wild
game
eats
a
less
consistent
diet
,
the
residual
tastes
of
their
primary
feed
source
affects
the
way
they
in
turn
will
taste
the
strong
taste
of
wild
animal
meat
is
sometimes
described, appropriately
enough
,
as
"Gamey."
The
elimination
of
this
taste
was
likely
an
unplanned
benefit
of
standardizing
the
feed
of
domesticated
meat
,
but
this
goes
back
to
IKC's
point
about
inefficient
use
of
proteins
I
just
got
done
watching
a
tape
of
some
relatives
taking
a
bite
out
of
some
researcher
on
the
Discovery
Channel
.
Man
,
that
was
good
times
.
