ridiculer
reviuquier To correct Dorothy Parker: Ridicule, when wielded correctly, is a weapon and may also occasionally be a shield.

So I come back after my ususual five or so months away and notice for the first time Tink's ridicule at rediculous of my use of the word on my visit before last. He thought it was misspelled!

It is ridiculous that Tink was so straight-jacketed in lackimaginationland that he could not see that rediculous was real, even though not recognized by the dictionaries he'd allowed to trap his mind.

Seems to have remained hardly changed here.

Once every five or so months is more than enough. (Saorise reminds me to add "of blather.")
