blown cherry I wheeled my way home,
my little dodgem car holding the corners tight.
We breezed about the town,
not a care to be seen,
worries whizzing by us as the
street lights flickered past one by one.
Outside wet and cold,
but warmly tucked am I
in my blue jumper and my pink coat,
and my head wrapped in
closely kept thoughts of you.
As I tasted the fresh ait for the first time,
and drank deeply so it soaked my entire being,
we sailed over the hills
as the wheels of my dodgem car
whirled me home.
