grasshoppers phil They are my favorite animals. The grass has little needles all over it that makes it hard to swallow, and grasshoppers can cling to it like velcro. My grandparents yard had a lot of grasshoppers, I wish my yard had some. When you pick them up they jump inside your cupped hands; you notice how hard their bodies are, and can feel their strong thin legs. When they jump out they sometimes get turned sideways and have to right themselves up afterwards. I wish grasshoppers were huge. They are a lot better than frogs.
