st0030 ST THE MADSTONE THEATRE This movie thetre is unique in the area as it is one of only a few that serve alcohol and a variety of better quality snacks, and best of all you're your not paying much more than you would for regular stuff a major chain theatre. The popcorn comes unbuttered and there are flavored powders to top it with (try chocolate marshmellow). The movie selection is usually a nice mix between arthouse/independent films and big budget hollywood offerings. Its a refreshing change from say, AMC. Then again an visiting Australian freind said upon entering "This is a yuppie theatre, isn't it?" ... 040128 ...
