The last sentence reminded me of when scientists published findings on the rough amounts of Neanderthal DNA in modern humans. Or at least when people started talking about that more.

You know how Neanderthals were generally stereotyped as oafish and dumb compared to Homo Sapiens? Well, it came out that European people tend to have more Neanderthal DNA than Asians and Africans.

So I was watching a video about the Neanderthal thing and some racist in the comment section was arguing that it was better to have Neanderthal DNA! that this *proved* that white people were superior, which he'd known all along!
