romans
raze here is what my feet found today while trying not to trip over themselves on a carved-up concrete curve they know so well. half a dozen stickers glued to the ground. a few were too far gone to be anything anymore. one was a smiling red face. another quoted a bit of romans 8:31. "if god is for us, who can ever be against us?" an ant said this. two torn strips of paper. eyes_without_a_face inked in black ballpoint pen, and some small remnant of a day planner. the first two days of a month that made itself a mystery. a partial shopping list on the other side, with half the words crossed out. someone's name. egg salad. the irish word for laughter, or a coastal village in papau new guinea. and a tangled length of yarn that almost could have passed for a person shrunk down to the size of a fist. 240604
