Sonya It was a couple of weeks ago but I actually received a greeting card from you in the mail.

You mailed it from so far away...and in such a dangerous place. It sounds like a prison disguised.

I traced my fingertips over the little stars you drew and your handwritten words...saying you miss me and how you wanted me to hurry back and be with you again. Silly dear, don't you know that I'm always here waiting for you to return from this....this "journey"?

We'll have our own Christmas and our little special days. Just because you weren't here doesn't mean they can't be redone especially for you.

with love.

jane same here...i like writing letters, i like receiving letters. email isn't personal. i like seeing people's handwriting, little doodles in the corner, a coffee stain or something. on letters i wrote when i was crying i would make sure a tear dropped on the paper and smudged some letters just so they would know i was really crying. it happened on accident sometimes too 030109

Lime Rider plus... you can draw. make words stand to one another for a nice effect. You can try doing it with tabs. it'll never work. and with letter... you really have something the other held... something you know the other has spent time on...

Someone once wrote me a love letter. But it was typed on the computer, and then printed. Even the heart was just a Microsoft Word pic. I mean... what is that? I don't think that's too damn personal either. I'm sorry for her... but I thought she was abnoxious.

raze there's something great about sending mail to someone who lives within walking distance. like you're spitting in the eye of technology and telling it to wipe itself with a handkerchief of archaic goodness. 150316

raze i'm going to write so many letters and send so much mail this year, i think my best hand might fall off by the time i'm done. even with the net not cast so wide as before, it should be worth the temporary carpal tunnel syndrome. 150405
