I don't want to have 4 HDDs and use them as one drive with the capacity of four. What I want to do is have 4(/5) HDDs with data redundancy so if any or all but one of the drives fail, I still have all my data. I believe this can be acheived using raid. So I want, say, 5 150Gb HDDs and the ability to store up to 150Gb of data, safe in the knowledge that when one of the drives gets dropped/burns out/is eaten, I won't lose any data. info/advice/urls please. 060103 what's it to you? who go blather from
