kyla Sometimes you meet people, and you think, that was me...two years ago--or two months. That's what I was like. That is how I thought.

And you can see how you've passed it. Not necessarily in a progressive way, but in a transitory way. Not really growing or learning, just...passing.

silentbob i was defending a girlfriend of a guy i know. he was saying all this shit about her. and i said, "What the fuck? if you're going out with someone treat her with respect! If you have a problem and you don't care about fixing it, save everyone the trouble and fucking break up with her"
and this guy silenced me and said he has no respect for people like me because he knows what its like, and he has been hurt by women and he isn't going to let it happen again, and he has been where i have, and it fucked him over, and he's not goign to alow that kind of mentality in his house.

he called it "that sentimental bullshit"

raze i wouldn't eat anything that came out of the detroit river, but zoran likes to fish there for perch. he loves classic rock. he thinks modern music is just a bunch of noise.

"i see this live show once," he says. "the guy jump up and down and he say, 'i love you, i love you, i love you!' he look like a zebra."

he's a building superintendent. he's from croatia. his wife is from germany. their son is the nicest kid you'll ever meet.

zoran used to stop and talk to us when he was walking cinnamon, his red poodle. he doesn't do that anymore. i think he's jealous of how much she likes us. i've never seen a dog use the tug of the leash to help them balance on their back legs so they can walk toward you like a person. she does that every time she sees us.
