Yes, I tried but could not avoid drenching my pants running across that deep puddle. It was deeper than I could tell in the shadows of a sizzling hot summer dusk. We're in love, right? So, believe me and give up the towel you have around your self now, okay? I do not mind incessant rain as much as drench from a puddle deeper than I could imagine. Q

the last time i played in a puddle was with jennifer. it was summer of '03 and we were 19, but we played like we were 5 again. it was one of the purest moments we had together. i haven't heard from her in about a year. i wonder what she's doing and who she's with now? i wonder if my fears were justified? i know i still miss her prescence. beauty, brains, and great in bed. she had it all. and when i had her i felt the same way. i didn't know until i started dating my current girlfriend that i was missing out on so much more. jennifer was great, but susan is incredible.

Oh what will the water fill now—there’s no greater calamity than water— no pattern, no texture & everywhere at once. speaking with the rain and the sky must know which one. The sky holds the rain like a sigh in a bag. At work you break, just to watch the rain storm. You are nameless & voiceless. You drift into a room & forget why you are there.

i swear, the one i saw when i threw a bit of light on the night looked just like a squirrel reaching out to touch me. i never thought a puddle of all things could punch me in the heart, but here we are. (also, for anyone who might be interested, the entry above mine consists of repurposed pieces of two uncredited richard fox poems: "rain" and "garden party". fuck plagiarism, and fuck the stupid symbols the fucking fuck who fucked us with so much of that shit in days of old left behind on countless innocent blathes as a result of all his hundreds of careless copy-and-paste jobs.)
