To quote T.S. Eliot Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future And time future contained in time past. ... It's hard for me to say time passes For time never really gets behind me Even though I can gaze at the remnants of Memories long forgotten Time is not passing me by I say I should not let it control me Since time is perpetually Moving next to me The only way for me to halt it is to Walk backwards, and live in the past A regressive lifestyle I'd rather not live in my past But I always am gladdened by Looking for what the future presents I used to wait impatiently for change Each passing second or hour might Have brought new circumstances But more and more (I figure this might be An increase in wisdom) I try to take time by the horns And pass it by as it might Pass me by ... Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future And time future contained in time past.

doing that which has not yet been deemed mistake. all these memories, opportunities, and no clear path or guide to light the way, just mistakes and misery and 'art' until the time passed

we met about 12 years ago, and we got along well even though we didn't have much time to really get to know each other, and there were differences between us. we stayed in touch over the years, but only occasionally and briefly and usually from a distance. we're in the same place for now, and recently we've reconnected through music-related stuff. i've noticed that we're more similar now. or we've both changed and matured in ways that make us more compatible. it's interesting to me, the idea of seeing people you only ever knew when you were still growing up. relationships can do a 180, or 360, or even just a 20 could be something.
