discrete
epitome of incomprehensibility "The Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission’s policy on breastfeeding states that women cannot be compelled to move to a more discrete location whilst breastfeeding."

They can stay in connected locations! They do not have to go to discrete ones!

(Note: the "whilst" isn't a mistake -the UK English spelling sometimes appears in Canada.)

e_o_i Oh, and more importantly, the judge who told a breastfeeding woman that she couldn't do so in the courtroom has made many questionable judgements. Most recently, he acquitted a taxi driver who was caught by a police officer in his taxi after pulling off an unconscious woman's pants and underwear. She had already passed out drunk, but this judge said there wasn't enough evidence of lack of consent - she could've been consenting beforehand, in the few minutes since she got into the taxi, you never know, let's not get too hasty here, etc.

But the evidence points against him, he was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards passengers in the past, and he was taking the woman away from her destination (home). Even if people wanted to randomly have sex with him, isn't he not supposed to do so during work? Kind of a nightmare scenario, too, that someone you pay to drive you to a specific place would take you somewhere else, let alone try to rape you too... I mean, even the first thing is scary: what's if you don't know a place?

So the world can be miserable. BUT AT LEAST THE "DISCRETE" THING WAS FUNNY, DAMMIT!
