questionable symbol junky language and humanity. why? no other animal has a spoken language as such. however, other species have been demonstrated to have a basic ability to symbolize action. even such basic things as a alarm call of certain species of birds or rodents can serve as communication (though there is no evidence that this is learned). human language seems to have evolved out of such communication, that did not intend to convey personal experience but just to communicate an expected action. of course this function of language also arises from the (fortunate or unfortunate) subjectivity of all experience. so of course language can be used to describe the real world, but only to oneself. therefore i write not for anyone else’s benefit, but so that i will have stimulus to remember the places i have once been. i find this important because without memory, we are only automaton. we can perform action, but it is entirely predictable. it seems, however, that this form of writing brings forth memories and messages in others that i did not intend. 030830 what's it to you? who go blather from
