nova nova I was on holiday. I'd quit my job, making a clean start of things after 9 years at the old place. I had a new job lined up, starting in 2 weeks. I got a phonecall, just after doing a whisky distillery tour and tasting. They were retracting my job offer. It was the economic conditions, they said. They wanted to assure me it was 'nothing to do with me'. Bad phrasing. 30 minutes later, I was in a speedboat with my wife and kid, watching him enjoy life to the fullest and being pure in the moment. I think back to that moment a lot.
