i_have_a_blister crOwl on the back of my heel from trying to wear in a new pair of docs. it hurts lke fuck. 040415 ... mon :./ 040415 ... crazy lady i hate it when that happens to me. i suppose that's one of the reasons i've been wearing the same used italian army boots since ,..oh gosh,..since '95 or '96? really, that's just sick when i stop and think about it. i can't believe i've been wearing them that long. maybe it's a world record? well, i haven't been wearing them the whole time, only when i'm digging or hopping around the woods or trying not to fall on the winter roads. i tend to be barefoot as much as i can from spring to autumn, and sandals have always been good friends of mine. i think i should get some new boots, or at least some new laces. yeah. i feel like i've typed this all before. i know a few good herbal remedies for blisters,..but you probably do as well. 040415 ... 0of46 i have 5.... 040415 ... crOwl italian army boots? very cool. where did you get them? how did they make their way to british columbia? what other kind of shoes do you wear? 040416 ... mon well i feel very silly now i should've typed: italian made hiking boots ...not italian army boots italian army boots sounds like boots that a soldier has tromped around in,..perhaps a dead soldier from a long gone war. but..no. mine are just regular old vasque hiking boots,.. american company, but made in italy. i once saw a pair exactly like mine advertised in a sale flyer with a bunch of army boots, and so i guess my mind relates them to army surplus in some disjointed way. they're not combat boots, but i guess if a soldier was fighting in the alps or somewhere rugged, he might want some good hiking boots. *sigh* oh well, i guess it would've made an interesting story if they had been old italian army boots. i got my boots from my ex-landlord who is a millionaire. they were his son's boots. they had barely been worn when i saw him throwing them out,.. i think i must've had a shocked expression on my face (seemed like such a waste of perfectly good shoes)...so he offered them to me, and when i tried them on they fit perfect..so i gave him a painting of some birch trees in exchange for the boots. he later told me he had the painting framed and hung in one of his rental houses in hawaii,...and i had to laugh at that because it wasn't that great of a painting to be framed (in my opinion), but i thought it was cool anyway. what other shoes do i wear? umm... lemme think. shoes shoes shoes.... is thinking 040418 ... mon hmm i don't really wear that many shoes none too spiffy in the shoe department 040418 what's it to you? who go blather from
