yeah, there's just something about that hillbilly music that i understand. maybe it's cause i'm american and it's a quintessentially american art form. though i'm not religious, when he says "we'll meet on god's golden shore," the message comes through loud and clear.

i'm thinking of incorporating one into my act some time. i don't know, though. do you guys think Skid Row could handle the banjo sound? maybe we can get Bob_Dylan to tour with us. i think the dude needs some more exposure.

NOOOO!!! Don't do it! Please for the love of your reputation, do not try to use a banjo! If you do, I am afraid I will be so disappointed in you that I will not be able to bring myself to stalk you any longer. Skid Row is a very sexy band. The banjo is one of the least sexy instruments I can think of. Skid Row rocks. The banjo does not even come close.

well, taking into consideration that you're a great fan of ours, i talked with the guys last night and we agreed, no banjo for skid row. we are moving right along with the trombone. i think it will open up a lot of doors for us that previously have been slammed in our faces. what do you think?

I think it's a bit risky, but being the excellent band that you guys are, you just might be able to pull it off. more so than the banjo at least.

1922 gibson tenor 1924 vega tenor 1930s no-name tenor gold tone cripple creek banjitar still can't figure out how to work with that fifth string, maybe because of the somewhat warped way i play stringed instruments in general. but the tenors and six-string banjos are good friends. friends i've been neglecting. i need to remedy that.
