the_girl_with_the_dragon_tattoo lostgirl whoa!! after the last book i read which left my heart in pieces for a bit (possession_a_romance) i was definitely ready for a page turner...and this book did not disappoint. this is a mystery loaded with family intrigue, and filled with murder, stealthy investigative reporting and private investigating, peppered with sour business deals, legal issues, unfair verdicts, and even a good, solid glimpse into the worlds of publishing and biographical writing. the human dynamic is captured eloquently in this superbly written but complex novel. the characters are each unique unto themselves, and all orbit around the star; our four foot eleven inch tall, 90 pound punky 'girl' with the tattoo. lisbeth is not only a genius hacker and a brilliant investigator with a photographic memory, but she also has a short temper and quite a strange personality to go along with her socially and psychologically troubled past. at the risk of spoiling, i will just say definitely read this one...and the even better news is that there are already two more books (and maybe more) to follow by the now deceased author stieg larsson. see also blackink_white pages_....thanks for another good recommendation! 100803 what's it to you? who go blather from
