squirrely raze i watched this squirrel carry a piece of cardboard into a tree across the street. it's cold, but the snow is taking its time showing up, so they're all building their winter homes right now. this guy got where he wanted to go with this piece of cardboard that was probably bigger than his body, and then at the last second he lost his grip. he watched it float down to the ground in real-time slow-motion. you could almost feel his frustration. he stared at it for a minute in disbelief. then he seemed to say, "to hell with this," and disappeared into a hole in the middle of the tree. 171128 ... unhinged poor thing the squirrels in my neighborhood seem energized by the cold weather. they are probably foraging for the winter the squirrels in my parents back yard used to throw stuff at my mom when she dumped the yard waste in the woods 171203 ... raze the latest visitor to the neighbour's fence that looks in on our kitchen window saw me see him. this fat little brown fella. we looked at each other for a minute. then he turned around really abruptly and mooned me. i made myself some breakfast, ate it, came back, and he was still in the same position. he didn't move for a good twenty minutes. what a guy. 171208 ... unhinged ha! squirrels can be little assholes like that. those same squirrels that threw stuff at my mom would run half way down chittering while they launched shit at her head they would also come up on our deck to dig in my mom's big potted arrangements and torture my cat. those squirrels were not happy that humans cut down large parts of their habitat and then encroached on what they didn't cut down. those squirrels waged war on my family for entering their territory 171208 what's it to you? who go blather from
