regan_and_grace
cr0wl sisters that i taught to ski today under a bit of fluff. regan was three, "almost four." which meant she was a little more than a marionette whose strings are released, or rag doll. however, grace at 6 picked it up quickly and was soon doing it without clipped on tip holders. grace was determined but was not afraid to laugh at her initial attempts, some when she fell. they learn so quickly, though, all they need is confidence, which of course comes through mileage.

regan would not wear gloves if they got wet. she would just thrust her hands under her sleeve, like a turtle hiding its head.

cr0wl they returned todsy, the sisters. regan seemed happy to see me which was pleasing.
she ended up hanging on my back and i told her she was riding a bear, then she was a monkey in a tree.

i taught grace in the afternoon lesson. katie, a very good level 3 skier came along with us to the wishing rock. we all whispered our wishes and skiied on.
grace was brave but is still trying to gain complete confidence like katie.
it was interesting to see how motherly katie was with grace even though they were the same age. she fixed grace's helmet and helped her get her skis off.

cr0wl they came to school but didn't ski. seems they were tired and since their dad was packing he probably wanted to get some last minute shredding in.

i put a buddhist feltball necklace around regan's neck which she loved. i told her each bell represented a wish she could make. everyone that saw the necklace loved it.

she rode me like a horse again and then upon discovering i also wear a necklace of leather, silver and glass, she began trying to take it off me turning her into a giggling cherub.

grace looked so sleepy, yet she made me play tag with her.

i'm in love again.
