I'll let you call some of the shots, but only on the condition that I get a silver slinky at the end of the game regardless of win or lose, live or die, truth or lie.

ive been thinking a lot lately about what the hell i am going to do with my life. am i going to be a mad scientist? a cosmonaut? an artist? musician? fuck if i know. i dont even really know what i want. wait, yes i do. i want to be able to do whatever i want forever. i want the option of doing nothing. i want drugs. i want... fuck it. no, i want to fuck it. fuck it all. fuck the system. if fate has planned that i organize a violent overthrow of the american government (just kidding, ministry of homeland security... by the way, you guys are like the gestapo) then so be it. ill do whatever i need to get wherever i need.

fate justifies human (in)action. people need to believe there is a purpose. that life isn't meaningless. and so. fate. religion. faith. people need something to hold on to. otherwise- what is there?

I believe that people leave too much up to the hands of Fate. Sometimes the things we want the most have to be fought for and touched by our own hands. And sometimes doing the right thing...means letting go of the thing we want the most, even our dreams. is sullen again

i'm always a little unnerved by the idea that i'm not completely in control of my own destiny. at the same time, there's something freeing about throwing up your hands and letting the chips fall where they most like the lay of the land. especially if they're all-dressed ruffles and they don't get so dirty on the way down that you can't shove a few of them in your mouth when no one's watching.
