you don't have to have faith in an object or a religon for it to be faith. I think faith is a virtue because you could have faith in so many possible things and it isn't an easy one. Trust and all that

I used to think that "faith" was what happened when your life took a turn for the better and "fate" was what happened when your life took a turn for the worse. Like "Us meeting like this... it was fate" as if something good happened out of something bad I used to think faith was fate, just when fate was good

I think it's safe now which, of course, isn't the point since you're not supposed to be able to feel the floor under you... you're supposed to just believe that it'll be there when your head explodes and you drop from the clouds but, even so, I can see it and it's never looked quite so comforting
