raze i thought he was different. when he came here to film me doing what i used to do, his enthusiasm seemed genuine. i sent him some music in the mail. he convinced me to record myself reading the handwritten letter i slipped into the package, repurposing the gift as a school project so he could get a free grade out of it. i didn't like how that made me feel. but i ate it. he was supposed to interview me for a documentary he was making about the local music scene. we hammered out a day and a time. he didn't show up. he never talked to me again. you can't find any of his work online anymore. he deleted his entire portfolio when some of the people who hired him started making a stink about not getting what they paid for. at least i got to see some of the footage he shot of me a year or two after the fact, even if i wasn't savvy enough to download it before it disappeared. it wasn't one of my finest moments anyway. 231106
