Take it away . No don't. Leave it for her.

Woke up
In my head i heard your voice saying something.
Deep in the fog that was covering me you said
"why don't you call her at least call back sometime?"
And i fell back to the past and the grace that i lacked.
Blind in the praise that was smothering me.
I've left it so long coasting along but i know i was wrong.
Maybe my carefree's been careless maybe the story was half true. all the words that i've held too close to my chest are calling on me now to get through.
So i thought maybe i'd call and that would be all clear out regrets that were hovering here but how could i get to a place that is so distant now.
Back then i knew right away and still i didn't say under my breathe i was muttering and from the start i gave just part of my heart and i see what i did what i did.
Maybe my carefree's been careless maybe the story was half true. all the words that i've held too close to my chest are calling on me now to to get through.
Maybe my carefree's been careless maybe the story was half true. all the words that i've held too close to my chest are calling on me now to get through.
To get through.
I'll be hollering out the words that i meant to use. i'll be hollering out the words that i meant to use.
Maybe my carefree's been careless maybe the story was half true. all the words that i've held too close to my chest are calling on me now to to get through.
Maybe my carefree's been careless maybe the story was half true. all the words that i've held too close to my chest are calling on me now to to get through.
To get through.
To get through.
To get through.
To get through.

raze she was kathleen_edwards in my dream. but she was herself too. she walked across empty shopping bags with her wife and made firecracker sounds on the hardwood floor of the home they shared. the third track on her new album was a twelve-minute three-song suite. she played most of the instruments herself. the song that stuck with me was this pretty little waltz driven by the spectral murmurs of an omnichord. "save him from the cold blue majesty," she sang, with an irish accent that sounded wrong but made perfect sense. she was just picking up a bit of the colour of the country she found love in. 220919
