strangely enough, yesterday, yes. that, and fear that it could fall apart, and that by crying i was possibly pulling it apart ... knowing that crying would make it hard for everyone and that i didn't want to paint our lives with sadness. the poetry in my head said i was drowned beneath a mountain of blessings i could neither count nor carry. this beauty makes me feel ill. it's almost enough to drive me to religion, to apease jealous gods and beg their protection. do you?

i have. it comes like a wave, long anticipated. it's cleansing and renewing. seems to cause everything to begin again. respins the circle, you know? there is a grand children's book by shaun tan, called "the red tree." you should read it and you will weep for the beauty of your life. again, let me tell you, i am enjoying fleshburst. it is interesting to read the chronicles of one of your many lives. cheers.

i have a large collection of children's books which "the giving tree" is a part of. it is one of the best stories ever written and no matter how many times i read it, i walk away inspired and renewed in my thinking of why i am here. i'm glad you suggested it.
