jinx You have no idea how strange it was for me to click on recent and see my old e-mail address-word for word-underscore for underscore-in the "today" colum. All it would need is the @hotmail.com. 040411

jinx It's been a while since I've seen them. I'd forgotten that I used to see them so much that I made it my e-mail address.

But I remember leaving for school in the late spring mornings, and the grass would be covered with spiderwebs, and the spiderwebs would shimmer and sparkle.

Or the nights I slept on a blanket in the yard, I'd wake up and open my eyes to wet grass and itsy-bitsy spider webs with even tinier drops of moisture.

The sun is what made them shine on the silver strings.

Different drops reminded me of different things; it all depended on how the sun hit the dew.

Some of them reminded me of mischivous eyes.

Sometimes it looked like the spiderwebs were crying.

If there was just one drop on a string, it made me think of a tight-rope walker.

If there were many drops on one strand, it looked like a diamond necklace. One that would be soft, warm, and light around the neck instead of cold, heavy, and sharp.

Sometimes I wished that I could collect the dew and shape the drops into a crystal to hang in the window-so it could toss rainbows about the room.

I used to imagine myself as some sort of pixie, not taller than a blade of grass, and one of my chores would be to gather the dew from the spiderwebs...

Instead of the spider being dangerous, they didn't mind me being there. They just knew that this is what I did.

I imagined them being grumpy old men-harmless-but always complaining about something.

But I could skip on bare feet and flutter around with dragon fly wings-carrying my tiny, clay water jar.

Oh-I do hope a morning like this is soon to come.
