sharpen_your_teeth PeeT ugly casanova 130124 ... raze a guy i knew in the bad old days used to play this album on cassette all the time. back then it was brand new and everyone believed the stories about the mysterious edgar graham, supposed mastermind behind the whole project. it turned out he was a character isaac brock made up to deflect attention away from himself, to get people to hear the music without comparing it to modest_mouse, to manufacture a way to disappear inside the songs in a way he wasn't allowed to in his own band. it annoyed me then, this album, because the guy who kept playing it annoyed me, and there's always going to be some runoff. years later i bought it for myself on CD and listened to it alone. it became something very different when it wasn't part of a soundtrack cultivated by someone i didn't especially like. it didn't annoy me anymore. i still hear him singing along whenever i hear "parasites", though. some things don't leave you. 140312 ... raze hear it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inHz5uIvA_0 140312 what's it to you? who go blather from
