Sonya I shall now tell you a story that I carry with me always. Perhaps it is because I see myself in it even though I do not want to. I am not going to tell you the story exactly how it is, but how I remember it...

The girl who had wrought so much damage on her colleagues was embraced by him, the only one who loved her for all that she was. She was torn and bleeding from being pulled by family obligation, by tradition, by merciless duty. Her tears held their place in her dark eyes as he kissed her with unbridled passion. He could not see...he never saw her torment. Their night of fearless love would be their last.

The glimmer of dawn swept over the rolling green mountains. Destiny had come for her payment. There upon the highest peak the girl looked out into the abyss of clouds lethargically, as if she had known all along what deed must be carried out.

He approached her, so full of happiness that it was almost enough to hold her there forever. Their eyes met for one final catastrophic moment of love. She softly uttered the words he so longed to hear. And with his final words she flew away. She floated down away from him and he cried out in harsh silence as his beloved jade jewel slipped from his soiled hands.

The wounded maiden fell into the clouds, only to disappear. Destiny shrouded her in tranquility as she met it. Destiny would always prevail, but its sheen would never surpass that of the jade treasure that a boy lived to hold in his hand once he was a man.
