she had an art show at the kitchen in nyc i read about and then i saw her film "me and you and everyone we know." then i read her book, "no one belongs here more than you." she hooked me. the project you mentioned is the first i've heard about it so thanks...and maybe you and me and me and you could come up with something?

i've had an appreciation for her work, but i can't stand the sound of her voice. and http://eeeee-eee-eeee-bed.blogspot.com/ which has been lurking in the back of my mind, in my bookmarks of things to read more of, waiting for just this synchronicity.

wow, #14. i read a couple of the "anonymous" life stories. funny because for each i couldn't tell the gender until about half way through. i like the idea of writing down your life story, i think less time would be good, though it might inhibit the necessary amount of reflection? {reminds me of v for vendetta}

i'm glad this still exists, if only so i could read these words: "the best art and writing is almost like an assignment; it is so vibrant that you feel compelled to make something in response. suddenly it is clear what you have to do. for a brief moment it seems wonderfully easy to live and love and create breathtaking things ... in a sense, these are assignments — in the same way that the ocean gives the assignment of breathing deeply, and kissing instructs us to stop thinking."
