ladybugs raze some people think a ladybug is a harbinger of good luck. maybe eight or nine days ago i saw one walking along the ceiling upstairs. i think it's the first time we've ever had one in the house. it's the first one i've seen inside, at least. the next day it set up shop on the wall near a window. and for a solid week it stayed there. for a few days it wouldn't move at all. then i'd look one morning and it would be a half-inch over to the right and a little higher up on the wall. the other day i looked and it was gone. it was a little strange. i was getting so used to seeing it in that specific spot, i started to believe it would always be there. now it doesn't seem to be anywhere. as far as i can tell, my luck didn't change one way or another in all that time. still, i find myself looking every time i pass that window now on the off chance the wandering visitor has seen fit to return to the place they made their home for a little while. 171221 ... raze lady's back, hanging out on the ceiling again. 171222 what's it to you? who go blather from
