a few years back i was mostly thinking about how it would be that i could save myself. and then i was like, I really need to get to somewhere around Ithaca. like a homing beckon or something. but then I had to say that I had done enough Diane Ackerman reading (and attended a reading at the U Bookstore where i neglected to say "hi" even though she said, straight-up, come say "hi") to have gotten about 5 things to think about that will have to be in the is-what-it-is region when it comes to Ithaca. although i've heard it's beautiful and, chances are, i'd love it there. now i'm looking at the word, and i'm thinking, "I hack a car". urmm thanks. i mighta needed that car. the one person i told that i think i oughta go to Ithaca or something, had some really. seriously. green eyes. and that particular job, selling train tickets, really couldn't get any better, but it was an utterly bananas thing to do just in practice, too much talking to too many people about, um, things about which we don't have a clue! that place was an amazing oh-hey-woah thing. i'm not joking at all. it was amazing.
