its just email for google but you have to have an invite to get it because its experimental the thing of it is you dont have to delete your email because it arranges the messages in a nice efficient manner

it has 1,000 megabytes of space. which truly made my mind boggle when I thought about it, cause my silly ol' hot mail has two. that's one. two. my boyfriend just invited me (with his last invite, all together now, awwwww) and I am so pumped! although, I musst admit, I don't really understand most of the sorting/conversation sorting/etc info...but then i'm pretty well computer illiterate.

I think the way it sorts conversations is pretty neat, but, overall, there's nothing amzanig about it; it's just bigger. and has less annoying adverts (same number of adverts, if not more, but they are less annoying), sometimes it's even amusing to see what google thinks you're talking about. And when it does get it right, it's useful. we'll have to wait and see how it evolves; I'm not sure gmail is economically viable in it's current state, but then I don't have access to all the figures.

I have a somewhat limited knowledge of what gmail appears to be, however it seems interesting. And here's little me thinking hotmail.co.uk was new and daring! Although I must say, I may start to become jealous if I knew the full extent of its privileges.

i like the way it arranges things. i've had my account for about a month now and still haven't received any spam — something i can't say about any other email account i've had. if there's anyone left around here who doesn't have a gmail account but would like one, feel free to shoot me an email at wounded pear at gmail dot com (remove the spaces and turn the dot into an actual dot). i have so many invites it's kind of funny.

apparently about five million gmail passwords were leaked yesterday. they seem to be mostly old passwords that were accumulated through someone hacking into outside websites, and not gmail itself. but if you use gmail and you haven't changed your password in a while, it might be a good time to do so.
