epitome of incomprehensibility Subject line of email from Care2: "Yahoo! Japan sells whale meat." At first I read that as if it was happy: yahoo! But they mean Yahoo the company, and they don't want it selling whale meat because many whales there are endangered. 141213

raze did i use this web portal once? i feel like i must have. i remember lycos, msn, excite, and even netscape's net center. but only in the way you recall the face of someone you met once or twice without stumbling into anything like a meaningful conversation.

i'm almost positive it was google i was using when i found my way here. ever_since then, that's the word i've seen in the northwest corner of my screen when i search for something online.

(chrome isn't my go-to browser anymore, though. it got a little too buggy and sluggish for me after a while. firefox seems to be the lesser evil these days.)
