Energetic bursts of patriotism have sprung forth all over California. Candle vigals, obsessive flag waving, and plastering. American Logos all over everything. Who are we impressing besides ourselves? I think war is in the horizons, and only more innocent people will die. I hate war. There is throngs of people all over busy street corners. They are waving flags and cheering at the cars passing by, and the cars honk. I went home and got Meeca's gas mask, and my big white furry cap. I put it on, and drove around. It was symbolic in ways I can't explain. People laughed, some even looked scared, others looked away, people yelled bad things at me, told me I was sick, and some just blankly stared. It just wasn't a joke. War and terrorism could become very much apart of our every day lives. No ones safe. It may sound a little silly, and I a little crazy (which I'll never deny). The mask symbolized the war and the cap, the normacy of every day life. Oh, and the suprise I report to you when I ripped the mask off & they saw this girl underneath it all. How completely blown back by it all. Quand meme Good Bye Blue Skies...
