raze this used to be my favourite thing to do. and now i hate it. i fucking hate it. not because i wake up feeling disoriented. not because it takes my brain a little longer to defrost. because i don't like losing time. the days run away from me fast enough as it is. those speed freaks don't need anyone giving them a head start. 220527

epitome of incomprehensibility It got cooler in the night. That plus the rainy morning made me fall back asleep after my alarm.

But I had an online class to teach, so thank goodness for my phone's calendar giving a triple buzz for an alert.

kerry i want to do this, desperately. but there is movement and construction across the street, and my white noise machine doesn't drown it out. i wake up with a dry mouth, coughing from allergies.

for three nights in a row last week i got very little sleep. then, the morning after the fourth night, i slept until 11:30. i stretched a delicious stretch and took my time eating breakfast and lazed around because at that point why not, and i didn't shower until 2pm, and it was just what i needed.
