i
think
this
is
a
near
-universal
truth
—
something
almost
everyone
does
at
one
time
or
another
,
but
few
would
willingly
cop
to
.
i've
done
it
.
i
still
do
from
time
to
time
.
i
won't
lend
someone
a
book
that's
seen
any
bathroom
exposure
,
though
.
that's
crossing
the
line
.
in
the
third grade,
i
got
busted
smuggling
a
videogame-themed
magazine
into
the
boys'
rest
room
.
i
hid
it
under
my
shirt
.
i
was
proud
of
myself
for
pulling
it
off
,
until
i
walked
back
into
the
classroom
after
the
deed
had
been
done
and
my
teacher
asked
me
with
a
wry
grin
what
i
had
under
my
shirt
.
someone
ratted
me
out
.
i
never
found
out
who
it
was
.
it
wasn't
important
.
i
didn't
get
in
trouble
or
anything
.
the
only
thing
that
happened
when
i
pulled
out
my
magazine
was
some
good
-natured
laughing
.
years
later
,
i
ran
into
a
different
teacher
in
a
grocery
store
and
he
reminded
me
of
this
story
as
if
he'd
been
there
when
it
happened
.
i
guess
word
spread
,
and
the
kid
with
the
questionable
bathroom
reading
material
hidden
in
his
clothes
became
a
legend
spoken
of
in
hushed
, reverent
voices
—
a
veritable
robin
hood
for
pre-pubescent
nintendo
fans
everywhere
.
well
...not
really
.
it
was
just
a
funny
little
thing
that
happened
.
one
for
the
weird_confessions
,
maybe
.
