epitome of incomprehensibility

Two novellas from this publisher that stood out to me: The End, By Anna - by A. Light Zachary. It's strange. It's thought-provoking. It_has_Antarctica_in_it. Pony Castle - by Sofia Banzhaf. I wonder if I was looking at this book when I said the stupid thing about cute_hipster_covers. With its marbled wobbly textures, its bright colours. The story involves addiction and recovery seen through a character with sometimes rosy-romantic notions. In that sense, it's tiny little bit like another Montreal book, Lullabies for Little Criminals - less funny, but more focused and experimental/elliptical. (But then was the book fair I saw it at in 2015? Because Pony Castle was published late that year. Maybe it was the November book fair with AELAQ and/or it happened the year after. Anyway.) Unfortunately, from a cursory (tersor?) glance at the website, it seems Metatron is only selling their older books as ebooks now, but both are worth reading.
