i had a dream you wrote an alliterative poem, and beneath it there was this note_to_self:
"sit and think: is this a pincer question, or a query worth keeping to myself?"
something about the idea of words with sharp, curved jaws struck me. made me wonder what kind of mouth might belong to a question that's kinder to the inquirer.

two years ago i somehow got it in my head that your birthday fell on a different day from today. i'm still kicking myself for that.
