macbook raze i'm writing this on a new computer. not new to the world, but new to me. the macbook i've been blathing and browsing and emailing and keeping track of my dreams on for the last ten and a half years has seen better days. a souped-up solid state drive gave it a bit of a shot in the arm a while back, but i'm still operating on a paltry four gigs of ram, and the old beater is starting to show its age. used to be able to get at least a week out of the thing before it would lock up on me at random and shut down after getting sluggish. now i'm lucky if i get two days. i couldn't justify the expense of an m-series macbook, so i pulled the trigger on a barely used decade-old pro. i don't need a world-beating machine. i just need something that works and gives me old school usb connectivity. for a tenth of what it would have cost me to bag a shiny new friend with a decent amount of space on the hard drive, this does the job. 240510 what's it to you? who go blather from
