at the ski school, i teach three lessons a day, sometimes four, even six. some of the classes have a single student (private) others have two, three, sometimes six kids...they come from ohio, virginia, d.c., maryland, and pennsylvania. their names are varied, but usually reflect the trends of the day...sydney, kristin, celia, hailey...for the girls...bryce, alejandro, guiellermo...for the boys... but today...oh today was monumental... ...for in my class of beginner skiers, both of them 3 and a half...the boy? GAVIN the girl? LILLY by the end of the lesson, as snow fell lightly around us, lilly learned how to push her feet out and stop. gavin, on the other had, tried, but failed... and what does this say about synchronicity and the story...i_dreamt_that_i_dreamt?
