flux from what i've taken in, "climate change" has been far more destructive than the oil or the garbage or the radiation, and will continue to be so, e.g. acidification.

i really didn't think fukushima's been a terrible threat to ocean life and humans that depend on it, possibly excepting the immediate area. a brief internet search didn't turn up anything conclusive. if you've got a good link to something that argues the other way, i'd love to read it.

flowerock My lover here has done all the reading on it and reporting to me about it... maybe he'll stop by here... or I'll get some linkage from him to share. It seemed to me from.what I saw and heard from.hime that the ocean currents are carrying radiation all over and that ocean life has been dying from it (apparently they've been tested/observed to know that it is the radiation, but I don't know for sure). Something about cesium also traveling around causing heart problems... Flux is right though, reliable sources of information will speak much louder and clearly here than second hand regurgitation. I trust my love and his research but I don't know where he is getting all his info either, though he is usually pretty thoughtful/thorough/choosy and varied. At this point I'm just rambling and not being very useful. I hope we humans and our fellow critters are ok. 141009
