epitome of incomprehensibility No, I have not been pronouncing the German word "traurig" wrong all this time. The "au" goes "ow" (without as much of a w sound) and the "รคu" goes "oi." So that's fine - I've been saying trow-rig, not troi-rig. But it's not "rig" with a hard g. The "-ig" ending has the velar_fricative. Well, not quite a velar, it's more fronted because of the front vowel.

Yes, I did write "cette" where I should have written "ce" in the official email about the craft_fair that got sent to 1,200 people. Near the beginning, too: cette vendredi, samedi, et dimanche...should be "ce." But the days of the week *feel* feminine, don't they? I mean, how do you say "this weekend"? Not ce Wochenende...wait, wait, wrong language. Cette fin du semaine. SEE! See! See! ...I think in France they just say weekend... But this is embarrassing.

Okay, but it's not a big deal.

But it's embarrassing.

But you don't need to worry about it.

"Need" and "will do" are two different things, self. But let's get up and worry about craft show prep and the German presentation, shall we?

e_o_i I turned over in bed and started crying.

"The bright side," I told myself, "is that this shows you're awake."
