Sonya It was another ordinary afternoon. I was driving down Central Ave. and stared at all the petite Victorian homes I passed by.

A crowd of middle school students huddle on a street corner bus stop and kept looking down the street...anticipating their ride home. I remember this same feeling only it was often felt in an urban bus station.

As I drove down Central the large maple trees that lined the street loomed over me. A breeze began to pick up and a shower of fallen leaves danced in the air as I listened to the crescendo of "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys.

It seemed as though outside the car everything moved slowly and peacefully, while inside I embraced the crashing of the chorus. Just another startling contrast on a seemingly regular day.
