That
eponymous debut
album
is
such
an
absolute gem
of
English
pop
rock
.
It's
unfortunate
that
it
seems
to
be
so
obscure
in
North
America
(
i
.e.
hard
to
find
in
record
stores
)
for
all
its
influence
and
legacy
and
appreciation
it
gets
in
its
homeland.
Such
wonderful
tone
work
for
an
80s
record
,
the
guitar
tech
and
engineer
both
deserve
high
praise
.
Such
fresh
arrogant
youthful vitality,
and
with
a
surprising
amount
of
both
groove
and
urgency
for
a
debut.
It's
just
one
of
those
albums
which
feels
eternally
fresh
,
utterly
timeless,
how
could
I
ever
tire
of
such
a
smart
,
poised
, perfectly executed
piece
of
art
?
It
is
a
bridge
between
the
80s
and
the
90s
in
English
music
history
.
And
it's
one
of
the
most
engaging
and
memorable
records
I've
ever
heard
.
Wait
until
the
glow
of
the
late
afternoon
before
listening
,
it's
worth
it
.
All
of
life
is
worth
it
to
be
able
to
experience
the
treasures
hidden
in
plain
sight
.
Especially
the
experiences
that
become
better
with
each
repetition
.
You
can
put
this
one
on
my
turntable
any
time
.
