sarah_slean no reason i like her brain http://www.sarahslean.com/about/SS_journal.aspx 091207 ... nr i dreamt that she was trying out a new song. it was in 3/8, according to the sheet music (and upon waking, it seemed like that could actually have worked), and ended with “prom queen... prom queen... prom queen...” over and over with neat/weird piano accompaniment. it actually sounded pretty sarah slean-ish. clearly i have to pitch this song to her and have her include it in her next album. 180325 ... nr kinda nothing like watching a live-from-living-room concert by an artist you've loved for a long time and seeing how she still retains her faith in hope and love to make you realize how jaded you've gotten 200419 ... nr i dreamt last night that there was an assembly in my high school auditorium, where people were supposed to get onstage and sing a song. i was one of those people, and i was sitting in the front row facing the stage trying to decide what to sing. i'd narrowed it down to two songs, neither of which i can remember now (but one was a sarah_slean song), but then changed my mind last minute when i went onstage and took the mic. i decided to try "my invitation" by sarah_slean, except in the dream it was called "emma." as i began to sing, i realized i didn't know the song as well as i'd thought, and hesitated. thankfully two of my friends and a couple of other people all appeared next to me and belted out the song. for some reason we all turned to face away from the crowd when we did this. i was thinking this was the first time sarah appeared in my dreams, but it looks like that's not the case. 260224 what's it to you? who go blather from
