epitome of incomprehensibility You go into the upstairs bathroom where only a toilet sits. You sit on it. When an airplane descends towards the airport runway nearest you, your newly raised perspective is momentarily alarmed: the plane looks like it's going to smash into the house.

By "you" I mean "me." By me, I mean 9/11 was a long time ago but not as long ago as my alleged self, so the fear and fascination with flying objects goes deeper darker back.
