nr i: i'm envious that you're so clearly fun right off the bat. people often don't find that out about quieter people until later.

e: don't be. it's got its positives and negatives. being fun also means people don't take you seriously, or think you lack depth.

i: do you think? that's interesting, i don't personally feel that way. if someone is friendly and fun, it'll make me more comfortable around them and make it easier to open up. when you're quiet, people think you have nothing to say and that you're boring.

e: you're not boring! and also, being fun also attracts non serious people to you.

e: we have to honour ourselves and our uniqueness.

i: i know. it's just sometimes trauma sets in, and i feel sad that i don't get enough time to express myself because i'm not always chatty right off the bat. people sometimes lose interest or judge right away.

e: that's fair, i just find people who never move beyond fun lacking in depth.

i: yeah, there needs to be more than that for sure.

e: the right people will allow you to open up.

e: i like this insight into your thoughts, because i feel the same way but in the opposite direction.

i: same.

i: i don't know if people think i have either depth OR fun.

e: not true, you come across as both.

i: so do you. but that's because we're longtime friends.
