they're discovered like lost quarters in the midst of fallen leaves. they provide pleasant surprise and appreciation in the moment, but only last for so long...after all, when you've spent your quarter and eaten your candy or used up whatever awesomeness you've spent your quarter on, the pile of leaves remains. quarterless. the quarters do keep coming, but they are fewer and farther between. and who's to say how many are left?
