dream_snow_white
epitome of incomprehensibility It's sort of a dream_play, but the spell I'm performing has to work or Snow White won't wake up.

A woman with elfin brown-red hair plays the tune on the piano. I sing it. Did I get the key change right? She plays it again. It seems to have changed.

I'm one of Snow White's friends, or playing one of her friends. My brother is the prince, and a younger woman with light frizzy hair is playing Snow White - she dons a black wig and lies in her coffin for this part. The other principal character is played by my ex, David, and we're all staying in a house together, but it's a big house, so it isn't too awkward.

His part in the play? When Snow White is poisoned and seemingly dead, she's put to rest with a black laptop tucked under her folded hands. That's when David's character approaches her. You think he's going to do something to rescue her, but instead he takes the laptop and starts typing on it.

I don't want to appreciate him as a person too much, I'm afraid it will hurt me somehow because I'll start missing him...but his acting makes the scene hilarious and I think, "I have to tell everyone about this when I wake up!"

But then I forget I'm dreaming. A rose is tucked under Snow White's limp, folded hands: the serious part. My brother's character will fall in love with her, but I have no one. Just a song that I can't quite remember.
